ORGANIC DENTISTRY

Organic dentistry aims accelerating the wound healing by using the own blood of the patient. Protein rich fibrin (PRF) is used for this purpose. Blood drawn from the patient is centrifuged in blood centrifuges that are specially manufactured for this purpose, and finally, PRF is extracted from the blood through 8 to 12 processes and treatments. Next, this fraction is processed into a membrane and placed to the surgical site.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF ORGANIC DENTISTRY?

PRF contains many substances that induce the healing. These are:

  • TGF-beta (transforming growth factor beta): It ensures recovery of vascular epithelium.
  • FGF (fibroblast growth factor): It repairs the tissue.
  • PDGF (platelet derived growth factor): It ensures growth and repair of blood vessels.
  • EGF (epithelial growth factor): It ensures growth of epithelial cell and wound healing.

The ingredients play a very effective role in wound healing and hemostasis. It is not means toxic and it does not cause allergic reaction, as it is derived from the blood of the patient.
