These are tooth-colored fillings and they are exposed to light to stiffen. They are attached on the tooth with special adhesives. It is an aesthetic and economic treatment option. It has different types for anterior and posterior jaw. So, it can easily be applied for all teeth of the mouth. They are not as durable as porcelain due to their structure. Substances that contain coloring agents, such as tea or coffee, may cause discoloration. If they are varnished well, they can be used for a long time without being broken.
